Updated the list of socially important goods that are subject to temporary state price regulation

The list of socially significant goods that are subject to temporary state price regulation in accordance with the decree of the Ministry of Antimonopoly regulation and trade of April 15, 2020 No. 30 has been clarified. The relevant information is published on the official website of MARCH, the SB reports.


During the period of price regulation, the situation in the consumer market of Belarus has stabilized. In the absence of increased demand and the availability of a wide range of products, decree No. 45 of June 23 of this year was adopted, according to which the following products are excluded from the scope of price regulation: coffee, canned meat, canned fish, dry milk, solid toilet and household soap, matches, sanitary pads, diapers (children and adults), toilet paper.

In connection with the adoption of this decree, price regulation in Belarus within the framework of the decree of MARCH No. 30 of April 15, 2020 is maintained only for socially important food products.

Regulation of prices for respiratory protection products (masks intended for individual use) and disinfectants (antibacterial, decontaminating) (including gels, sprays) is provided in accordance with the GOVERNMENT decree of April 6, 2020 No. 27. State regulation of prices for respiratory protection products and disinfectants is planned to be extended in agreement with the EEC Board.

It should be noted that approaches to price regulation and the levels of applied wholesale and trade surcharges remain unchanged.

Also, resolution No. 45 specifies the product group "canned food for children" in accordance with current technical regulations.

This decree comes into force after its official publication.
